An outstanding performance from South Africa. It's hard to think how they could have improved on this, really. So much so that I have absolutely nothing to add, other than the fact this is England's lowest-ever total in Twenty20s. "England's women managed more runs than that today, without even losing a wicket," chirps Miller with a wry grin. I'll be back in 10 minutes for South Africa's chase.
England all out and made just 111 runs. :D :p

South Africa did win the game but the slowness of the pitch probably prevented them from winning it in style. They took as many as 18.2 overs to chase down a score of just 111 runs!

They probably chose to play a lot more safer and only as per the requirement...

South Africa put in a display worthy of their tag as pre-tournament favourites as they cruised to a seven-wicket victory against England at Trent Bridge after skittling the hosts for 111 in their first Super Eights match. Dale Steyn and Wayne Parnell set the tone with wickets in their opening overs and were backed up by impressive spin and fine catching, particularly Roelof van der Merwe's effort to remove Kevin Pietersen, and although the run chase didn't set pulses racing the result was never in doubt.

You hit the nail on the head...Rohit! But that is the risk of choosing to bat first. In your attempt to get as many runs on the board without adjusting to the slowness of the pitch, your end total ends up looking disastrous.
Whereas batting second, South Africa had ample time to play as per the merit of the ball! :)

Well i think that it was just a bad application by the England batsman...There was nothing wrong in the pitch, it was a good batting wicket....:)

And it has Chris Gayle in the side... :p
He is a very strong player and plays well against Indian bowlers. :D

So what we have yuvi, who can do the same that Gayle does....:)

But, I have a strong feeling that a team cannot depend on a single person to perform all the time... Its a team game , in that case India has a better fire power than the windies....

Me too supporting Sri Lanka as I am a fan of TM Dilshan. :)

Is there a team more fascinating to watch than Sri Lanka? Of all the teams that have come into the Super Eights undefeated, none has done it as beautifully as Sri Lanka. South Africa have been too efficient to love, India too imposing (and under-tested) to admire. But Sri Lanka? They have made art in comprehensively defeating Australia and West Indies in the group of death.
