Generally ICC announced the schedule of Cricket World Cup almost one year before the main event so that the venue’s get enough time to prepared their stadium and other associated infrastructure before the main event starts. For 2011 Cricket World Cup ICC announced the scheduled in November 2009 and gave the organizer enough time for preparation. All the matches of Cricket World Cup 2015 will be played in Australia and New Zealand. They will divide the number of matches between themselves. There is no official information available to us on which match will be hosted by which country. We will update the Cricket World Cup 2015 Schedule here when ICC declare the schedule. The first match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will be played at Christchurch, New Zealand and the final of Cricket World Cup 2015 will be played at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Melbourne, Australia.
Would love to see a India Vs Pakistan final. But with the current Pakistan team, I don't think they can even reach the Quarter finals.

I heard that the first match of World Cup 2015 is in Between India and Pakistan. Is this true or fake??
Both Pakistan and India are in Pool B the first match between 2 teams is on Sun Feb 15 which is the 4rth mach of the tournament..
