Hi, Has anyone tried IBP link building software? Or Arelis link building software? I've heard that reciprocal linking is now not effective. Google hates and punishes reciprocal linking, according to what I"ve heard. But I don't know the facts myself. Any experience with any of these softwares?
"Google hates and punishes reciprocal linking" What??? Who told you that? IBP is only good for one thing IMO. Semi-automatic directory submission.
Try SEO Elite. It combines BOTH Arelis & IBP. The latter 2 are from the same developer, and to maximise your linking strategy, you really need to use both. Using SEO Elite is not just simpler & easier, it is a lot cheaper too. I have written a head-to-head review of these tools and a graphical comparison chart, which I'd be glad to direct you to. Please pm me.
I've tried using IBP. IMO its a good software for semi-automatic submission. It is much easier to monitor your submissions.
Appart from the fact you cant add your own to the list. So you cant track anything appart from preset dirs and SE.
I don't understand how or why Google would hate reciprocal linking. It increases both traffic and link popularity. As far as Arelis I do use it. And it works great. In fact, I've skyrocketed my traffic using that software. It was a great investment for me.
My friend had a website with page rank 3. He got arelis, added a lot of links over time. And then poof! google gave him a page rank of 0!!
Google doesn't hate or penalize you for recip links. Google does hate instant link building though. Like if you start a website, then all of a sudden within a week, you've got 100 links, Google will penalize you for that. So when using link exchange software, make sure you trickle your links in steadily and constantly, rather than spending your first week compiling links. This way your 'value' (PR) according to Google will steadily increase. Whereas if you smash your site with a tonn of links all at once, you will be penalized.
Use Dynamic Submission for submitting your site to 1000s of directories (plus a couple of link farms ) ....
It depends on how many links the competition has. I tend to use, as a rule of thumb, the concept that it should take roughly 12 months to reach the number 1 listing's link count in competitive areas. Remember to vary the anchor text
