    Hey all,
I have come to a point where I am hesitating whether or not to develop the blog hosting site which I have purchase almost a year ago.

Anyways, I will put this for an auction and will see how things go. If I get a good offer, I might want to sell it.

    site is iblogme.com
Its a fully licensed blog hosting and community portal. It has a state of the art professional design and alot of cool features, templates and other stuff.

I have bought this site for 2k a year ago from a french dude.

    Starting bid $500

    Reserve 2k

Bin - Will be announced soon

Traffic is minimal and income as well. I have not developed this site due to lack of time.

    Cheers,
    Nik

i think you paid way too much for it in the first place, and i dont think you will get anywhere near your reserve price - in my own opinion of course, i may be wrong. :D

    Offer $700 here

Will you fix the errors at the top of the blogs?

Not all but some of the blogs are spitting out PHP errors:
    Example: http://www.iblogme.com/sentimentalfever

Also if you look at every blog... the nav menu has • next to every item in the menu.

Can the script be modified to use subdomains? user.iblogme.com ?

Nevermind decrease that bid to $500

This thing needs a LOT of work. Plenty bugs. Here's what I found in the registration process alone:

On the registration page (and in the user accoutn edit pages) it has little question mark icons to explain the empty fields but when you click on them they open a blank window.

The verification page you go to when you click the verification link it takes you to an unfinished page

After you guess your way through the fields it says congrats and that it has sent you a validation link email and your password. It sends both emails fine but after you click on the verification link and verify it sends a triple email with the same info which can easily trigger spam filter and get the domain blacklisted.

All the different email types are sent from different email IDs so it's hard to tell the email is coming from the site. I almost missed the password email.

    ============
Also, the ads page just gives errors and the chat page is just blank.

I also realized the blogs giving errors are the ones with entries. So any blog where a user actually made a post is throwing errors at the top.

Having said all that I'm still interested in a BIN but I wanted you to know why I dropped my bid and not just look like I dropped it lower to lowball you.

PM me if youw ant to discuss.

    Hey guys,
    thanks for the interest.

Yes the site has some bugs, but they all can be easily repaired.

And yes it can be configured to use subdomains for blogs.

    Bin is $2500

    $610 offer.

If the bugs are so easy to fix, fix them before the sale.

    Thanks guys.

Site will be sold as it is. If I make the effort of fixing those errors I will surely keep it for myself....this site is too good to be sold for anything below 2k .
