IBL Restructing - Can I Expect Much of an Effect?

I just discovered that half of my internal links back to domain (breezetree.com/) and half linked to the home page (breezetree.com/default.htm).

I had never thought much about it, but the Google Sitemaps internal links section showed them split half and half. So I changed them all to domain instead of page today.

Think all that editing will make a bit of difference?

 

do a permanent 301 redirect breezetree.com/default.htm to breezetree.com

I think you are using IIS and not Unix since your homepage is default.htm.

I don't know how to do a 301 redirect in IIS

 

You typically can''t on shared Windows hosting (at least with the ISP's I've used).

 

I learned very early in the game to stay away from Windows hosting.
