I wrote an ebook on how to use a blog for professionals, small business owners, and service providers. The idea is to get them to get their information out there to market, build relationships, and grow their business. I am fairly new to marketing and SEO, but I have sold some ebooks in the past with no problems. This time I am having difficulties reaching my target audience since they probably are not really familiar with blogging yet. I am taking all suggestions and ideas on marketing. I am also looking for two to three SEO and Affiliate marketers to help me. Of course I am willing to give you the bulk of the profits for the next "x" amount of time. PM me if you are interested. push it as a free ebook in conjunction with a "make money at home" affiliate program. Or, vice versa. You can cross the two very easily.
What kind of "make money at home" affiliate program do you suggest. Should I go to Clickbank and choose the one I like the best, or is there a good affiliate program that you have in mind?
I have given several copies away trying to get some interest in the book. I don't have a budget right now for the book. I do have some Google Adwords ads but Google is not displaying my ads because of "low quality score".
Are you bidding on long-tail keyword phrases or something like "seo" or "online marketing"? You might consider YSM as well...
Yahoo Search Marketing... I would possibly drop the short phrases if they have a lot of competition, and focus on a few long phrases. Increase your bid amounts and try to bring up your quality score. Then add more keywords.
I would promote it on ebay first. I know that sounds cheap, but get some good reviews of it or even give the ebook away for free on craigslist or even get this site and get some great reviews. Then after you have some great reviews you can start spending more money promoting your ebook on google or though an affilate program. It's best if you design a website promoting the ebook as well. CoachKip, do you realize you are shooting yourself in the foot and going against millions by trying to promote a MMO eBook, there is no money in the make money online niche or the "blogging" niche. You have a nice sports site in your sig, write an eBook about something in that category like "how to play baseball" or some random longtail like that. Then Pm me as an affiliate and we both make money
