I need more traffic. I wouldn't mind paying like $50 for 10K worth of uniques a month. But I'd want it to be legit traffic. My blog isn't monetized yet, and I don't see paying for traffic making much sense (from a business point of view) until I make a little cash. Does anyone have any ideas on how to increase traffic to like 500 uniques a day until then (without spending money)? I've been getting link exchanges, so please don't suggest that... it's an obvious answer. I've also been posting on other blogs (relevant and useful posts). I have also been working on SEO. When I wrote "without spending money," and for free... That's what I meant. I don't want to spend any money until I make some. I want my sites to be cashflow positive, not the other way around.
If you're planning to input 1 dolars and get back 10 in 1 hour, please inform me when you find the way. Who would mind paying 50$ if he's getting 500$? This a risk from the begging to the end. My friend... this is basic advertising 101. You know why you see Taco Bell, Dodge, FedEx, Etc. spending Millions of dollars of ads online, on tv, in print, on race cars, sporting events? It's because they are putting in (as you say) $1 to get $10 out. They don't spend all that money to lose money. I don't need an eBook. There are plenty of threads here on DP that can help. But thanks for your time.
I was trying to tell just the same thing. All those ad campaigns etc are indirect ways of increasing revenue. And they all contain an amount of risk. nevermind, good luck in your business.
Here is a link someone posted on DP awhile back, it is a list of 45 places you can quickly submit your feed to. You might want to try article marketing and social bookmarking as well.
