Go to any of the spyware forums and see what spyware experts think of Google and their toolbar, as I mentioned in my webpage that quoted Mike Healan of Spyware Info, he wrote the article about the AutoUpdater, he does not really understand the implications of the rest of the toolbar data mining uses.

If you see the page on my website that has his link mentioned (Post #58) I believe that is the right link, you will see that I have comments on why we do not believe his claims about Google not selling search results.

Funny you should mention Scientologist, since anthonycea's website has a link named "YOUR IN A CULT" (or something along those lines), which yammers on about Scientology

So you think Google is secretly selling this info based on search results that are so deep in the results that they probably don't bring any traffic?

I like this quote from your site too...
Google is secretly moving these spam sites deep into the results where they are no use to try and fool us into thinking there isn't a conspiracy going on? :) Uhm, Okay.

No Shawn, those same back to back results that you see were in very HIGH positions in the following keywords when this started in 11/2003 searches like "websites for sale" "buy sell websites" and a lot of other keywords.

You will simply have to read the entire website to get the story.

Well let me just throw this theory out there...

What if Google constantly is updating it's algorithms to programatically flight spam. Maybe they are not at the top of the results, because they really aren't the most relevant sites to the topic.

Bob I have a question for you. Why did Google come out the other day with voluntary ADWARE/SPYWARE industry self governing suggestions?

Could it be that they fear the new laws being proposed on spyware would kill most of their software?

You seem to have suggestions for running Google, but I don't think that means you are going to compete with them.

Yahoo banned this so called spam site, this is not spam but a Google ADSENSE partner, this has been going on since at least 11/2003 I call it the ADSENSE ALGO, so called SEO Experts call it the Florida Update.

Google claims that they shook the results up to stop spamming and SEO tricks, the truth is that Google diluted the results so much that webmasters were forced to buy ADWORDS.

Next they started to tune the ALGO's to favor ADSENSE publishing partner websites in the SERP's

I have suggestions for Google, no, I do have suggestions for Microsoft and Yahoo. Those two companies must show leadership on privacy, market into the consumers desire for this important issue.

If that kills Google, who cares.

Microsoft is building into the next OS spyware protections that will lock out spyware and adware programs. The only way that they will be able to be loaded is if the computer owner overrides the built in protections.

Agreed... I think it's a good idea as well. Unfortunately I don't think Microsoft will be able to do it. They don't seem to be very good planners when it comes to their products.

But saying that it has even the remotest possibility of "killing Google" is silly. I could crash into a brick wall with my truck, if that kills Google, then who cares I guess. :)

What do you mean they will not be able to do it, they are going to do away with the browser also by incorporating it into the OS. They have announced that they are building these protections into the Next OS release.

    Google will not like that.

Just saying that based on their track record. I sincerely hope they do, maybe it will cut down on viruses. But over the years, I have not been overly impressed with Microsoft's ability to implement security measures into their operating system. Windows 95 was supposed to be uncrashable, Windows 2000 was supposed to be unhackable, etc.

That is pure unsubstantiated crap. I am a Adsense publisher. I have been since last July. I have seen absolutley no improvement of my web site in the SERPs. In fact the site that I publish most of the Adsense ads on has gone down in the SERPs since last July.

You are just making this up as you go along. The question I seriously ask is what did Google do to piss you off so badly? Did they demote you favorite site? You have to be trying to get even for something.

Bob, you still have not addressed my question to you, why did Google come out a few days ago with suggestions for the industry to set self imposed standards for ADWARE and Good Spyware? Not bad spyware, just Good spyware like theirs.

Next Bob I am making up nothing, if you had thousands of subdomains like the Webnox group with ADSENSE on the pages maybe you would be featured in thousands of search redirection results like they are. You can see it with your own eyes at www.webcenter.squarespace.com how do you explain this to the forum. Can you put a spin on it for us as to what is happening in these SERP's
