    Hi there,

Any suggestions whatsoever would be really, really helpful.

My site, www.allthepieces.com has been redesigned in the past couple of months. Previous to that it wasn't optimized at all, but it had been in existence since the summer of 2003.

The problem is we aren't coming up at all under our strongest keywords = "wedding invitations" When I use the Keyword Ranking Tool we get a big fat "N/A" for those keywords and many others.

Any idea why? Our site is loaded with appropriate content, our meta tags (for what they are worth) are in place and we even have our site submitted to several directories and have a healthy reciprocal link program going (not a link farm.)

We are at a loss - so again any tips or recommendations would be great.

    thanks so much!:)

I would just say you need TONS of more incoming links. You are in a very competitive field.

Im sure that this doesnt have anything to do with your ranking but what I found odd is you have quite a few sites pointing to yours with the same filename but different site. 2_invitations.htm

Not sure if that is a network or not. But that is the only thing that I seen off in my quick glance.

    I agree with Aaron.
Google only shows 1 backlink for your site.
You are going to need a lot of links to your site using your keywords as the anchor. Backlinks are essential to ranking well.

Here is my take on this: msn shows a lot more backlinks so the amount of links is not necessarily the problem. I see the problem in where they are coming from. Almost all of your links are from pages such as links.html and resources.html and it doesn't give your site enough credibility IMO. I would submit my site to a few of these directories.

Will spending $250 on directory submissions really help? We are trying to control costs right now as much as possible.
