I would like to post selective RSS news articles on my site

I am creating a content specific site. I would like to embed RSS news articles that I hand select (I do not want them automatically fed to my site)

My web site is hosted on UNIX.

Is there a script/application out there I can use to do this? I have searched this forum and the web for a few hours today and did not find exactly what I was looking for.

Not sure what you mean. Do you want all the posts from that site? Then grab the feed. Do you just want some of them? Then I am not too sure how to do that unless they syndicate by category, in which case you can grab the feeds for just the categories you want.

Maybe there is a better solution but this is the one I can think of right now.

I'm just now sure what needs to be added/coded on my site to display them properly...

 

Two options I can think that I use all the time are Feed Digest (http://www.feeddigest.com/) and Feed Twister (http://www.feedtwister.com). With these you just put in the feeds you want, select how you want them to appear on your site, and get the code you need to embed them into your site.
