i would like to know the best way to advertise my site

Hey dp

here is my site click here i was just wondering what you guys think would be the best way to advertise it...... the site is getting some traffic but some thread that i read on here and the amount of traffic some site get i would love to know how they advertise...... i hve done the seo side of things and got some links i hear that banner exchange is a bad thing to do. I have also submitted some artices.
the only thing on my site for sale is one ebook i have a forum on the site but no one seem to leave any threads how can i get them to do this?

Find forums about dogs or animals in general. Give them snippets of content from your site then link to your site. They will most likely read since they are animal lovers.

You have a good site, older people will apreciate the design. It's not web 2.0 it's the good 'ol fun days of crazy cute animations.

You can use a site like Traffic Swarm. You'll get tons of free traffic..

Article marketing has been working quite well for many marketers. You may wanna try that

 

As far as Advertising goes...have you tried AdWords?

 

Write a "10 things you didn't know about (xxxxx)" article. Make it interesting and appealing to the 18-34 demographic and submit it to stumbleupon, digg, reddit, and many other social news sites.

 

Try hiring some paid forum posters to give a boost to your forum.
