I would appreciate some notice first!

I have been a member for a while now and had no idea until just now that you have changed the rules on typing "please pm details" which is regarded as bumping.

I made 3 posts in quick sucession and I have been given 3 infraction points!

I would appreciate a warning first, I always adhere to the rules and dont expect to be punished having been a member that also posts replies to people helping them in this forum. I am not just a sponger.

I would ask that you please remove any infraction points from my account please.

Yea there was a big discussion about it before, perhaps you didn't see it that time.

By the way mods could not differentiate if your "bump" is did on purpose or not. Just get it over, at least you're not doing this again, it's still a great help towards the forum

 

buddy,you have missed reading the announcement and thats why they have given you 3 infractions.So the next time you logon do see the announcements first.
As for the reversal of your infractions,mods would be able to do that if they want.

 

Two or three infractions won't make any difference to your use of DigitalPoint. It's only when you get to ten points it makes any difference as that's when the automatic ban comes into play.

Think of infractions as a way for Mods to quickly communicate with forum members.

 

And on top of that, PM me for details was always technically bumping - we're just cracking down harder on it now to weed out the crap, specifically with people directly asking you to bump their threads. And as I believe someone else said... the announcement was your warning. You had ample time to read it (at the top of all BST forums - and your responsibility to check) before we started giving infractions.
