I withdrew money from paypal to bank account, and it is still Pending after 2 days since my withdraw

    I withdrew $100 to my bank account on October 9th (at 14:57:44 PDT), so it has been over 2 full days, and the withdrawal is still showing as Pending.

    I have been using paypal for years, and it has never taken longer then 24 hours for a money transfer to show a status of Complete.

    This is the 1st time that I have ever had this issue, and by the way, I have been using the same bank account for a long time with paypal, and my money transfers have always Completed within 24 hours (and then I would receive the payment in my bank account on the next weekday, after it showed a status of Complete).

    So, I have never had to wait longer then 2 business days (this means excluding weekends) for a money transfer to be deposited into my bank account.

    I expected the money to by in my bank account yesterday (on the 11th, after 2 days), and it was not.

    The withdrawal is still showing a Status of Pending, and this really has me worried, because like I said, the status should not have remained Pending for longer then 24 hours.

    I am thinking about calling customer service, but I have a feeling that they will not have a good answer for me (they will probably just tell me to wait the full 3-4 business days for the transfer to complete).

    This is just very strange, because this has never happened to me before.

    I am just upset, because I really need that money ASAP.

    Just curious if anyone here might know why my money transfer is still in a Pending status (after well over 2 days time)?

    Has anyone here ever had an out of the ordinary money transfer take this long to Complete?

    Yes, 3 to 5 days is usually what they take. Do not count Sundays, so your request started Monday morning, so today at the soonest.

    I checked again today, and it is still showing a status of Pending. I called paypal today, and the person told me that because I made the withdrawal on a Sunday, then that is the reason on why it is taking so long to Complete. She told me that if I would have done the withdrawal on a weekday (before 7 pm), then it would have completed within 24 hours (as I am normally used to experiencing). Very strange that just because I did it on a Sunday, I am having to wait 3 extra days (then I normally have had to wait in the past). Thanks for your reply.
