Why is there such a lag on getting payments?

2 months lag for me to grab the money.. (secure check delivery)
about 1 month to get the check (payment is in the following month)
and 1 month extra to encash the check..

I agree, I would *love* bi-monthly payments or even just getting paid exactly at the end of the month instead of a month later. I don't know the logistics behind all the financial stuff, but I really do with it was more often.

It'd be a mess to deal with. Twice as many payments. Probably (on google's end) twice as much click verification. Twice as much work (printing out checks, stuffing envelopes), etc. Then, if you do it bi-monthly, people will want weekly checks. It'd be a mess.

I agree. I get paid by my employer monthly as well. I much prefer it to bi-weekly, much easier for budgeting

    if u r earning 100 per month...every month you get a cheque..so why worry?

bi-weekly will be almost impossible to manage for them
