Link? Asking as I'm curious as to what measures you've already applied (if any)

Assuming this is for the forum in your sig, ust a few quick hits - see if these make any significant difference:

Account Activation: change from <user> to <admin>

Flood Control: Raise to 60 seconds

    See how those go

I need to make some kind of hindrance to those spambots. They are currently registering and posting without any problems. I need to add some kind of mod to the forum to restrict them.

Having had a second look at the spammers on your forum, they're pretty easy to detect starting with their username. Given this, I'd simply change the account activation from User to Admin - that way you can quickly scan and allow/reject new activations, based on the name they pick.

OK. I want reps for this:

Search Textual Registration mod in Phpbb.com and use that. This way, while registering, your users will have to answer a question that you decide such as 2+2=? and no bot in the world can answer this unless they are human beings. It works wonders for me. After I installed it, I never had even 1 single spam from bots.

    Hello !

As vex said , thats one of the best methods to prevent different bots registering and making spam posts !

Just download and install this script and lets see the result

    http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=383788.

Its takes 2 minutes to install this script

    Thanks
