I will pay a % of sales to build my website.

I am a Sharp Electronics dealer. I am interested in building a website that offers my products for sale online. I carry anything from sharp TVs to small appliances. I am looking for a site that is optimized for keywords that pertain to my products. I will expect my site to rank first on google or yahoo for 5-10 keywords per page(that I agree upon), and on first page of google or yahoo for 10-15 keywords per page(that I agree upon). You will be responsible for achieving high ranking for my products on google products. Must have the ability to write good content, and design headers/banners. I will pay for all expenses, but I must approve them first. I need to have sales pushing 50k month within the first year.

You must provide two sites that you have designed and proof that you are the author.

This will be a long term commitment agreed upon in writing.

Pay structure will be 5% of sales. No limit on earnings.

PM me with any ideas, questions, or different ways to approach opportunity.

And how much down payment to confirm your commitment to the project?

I didn't anticipate paying a down payment. This is a comission based project. How much did you have in mind?

I can provide you with great hosting you will just have to provide a small company link at the bottom.

Thats funny? I though we were talking about design here.

    ____

Also mrhodus I think that expecting 50k from sales is a bit much with a totally new site and in the first year alone. It would take a while for all the rankings don't forget.

On a profit share project we would typically look for 25% of the development costs as the down payment plus our solicitors and accountants fees (preparation of contracts/ reviewing the business plan) however from your comments it does suggest that we are not the sort of developers you are looking for.

Sorry to play the role of realist here, but you're setting yourself and your partner up for failure if you expect to achieve the rankings that you mentioned. Not even the most confident SEO expert on the planet is going to undertake this job unless they're a) insane or b) trying to scam you. So if you do get anyone to agree to your terms, I would think that's a person you would not want to work with.

My two cents. Your mileage may vary.

I know of a good programmer who can help you but he is going to require a payment upfront.
