I have another keyword for which I am seeking no.1 position in Google. There are 56,000 other sites/pages that used the same keyword in Title. I am on the second page just after 1 and half months. I did proper On Site optimization and getting high PR links from the related sites.

The difference between this keyword and previous is the current one has 3 words and the previous is 2 words keywords.

Do you think 2 words keywords will face more competition than the 3 words keywords?

In general, yes. But not always. For example, the two word key prhase "selectsplats serps" is bound to be less competitive than "SEO Optimization", right?

You can check for yourself by doing a
intitle:"twoword keyprhase"

And even a..
inurl:"twoword keyphrase"

To see how many people you will be competing with directly.

You can even have a look in the Google keyword tool (with search type set to 'exact') too see how much competition that phrase has in Adwords.

And finally, I like to look at the startistics of each URL in the first page to see if i can i can achieve what they are doings easily. I look at stats like PR, google backlinks, age of domain, and a few others. You've got to be realistic about it. Obviously, if the first page is full of Walmart, Target, and Amazon URLs, then you're probably not going to have the budget to compete with them.

Thank you for this great service. I want to know if Parked domains affect PR ? I mean for example I have domain 1 and domain 2 Parked on domain A with PR4, will Domain 1 and 2 get the same PR 4 that domain A have ?

 

You should include forums marketing, blog comments, Twitter, Facebook and Hubpgaes kinda sites in your link building campaign. These are high authority sites and better if you get backlinks from the same. Just pick 10 top article directories from Google including Ezine, amazines and ideamarketers for getting better performance from article marketing activity and then also do syndication of approved articles via Feedburner.

 

What do you think about the news that Google is going to 'change the name' of Page Rank-at least they're thinking about it. They're concerned that too much emphasis is put on PR. I don't think that re-naming it will change things-do you?

 

But I thought due to high back links i got in google dance,also if I build no follow back links will it help,also if i don't do anything will i get out,in how many days.Thanks.

 

How does the link juice pass? and how much link juice is pass on the link linked to the site?

 

Here's an example:

Website A is a PR5 with 0 external links.
Website B is a PR0.

Website A links to Website B, it now has 1 external link.
(Pr Update)
Website A is a PR5
Website B is now a PR5.

Website A adds 2,000 external links.
Website B doesn't do anything.
(PR Update)
Website A is a PR5.
Website B is a PR1.

 

If you get a link from a pr 5 site with no outbound links, your site won't become a PR 5, that's crazy talk.

Juice, and PR are just metaphorical terms for saying that a popular site is linking to your site. The more popular the site (higher pr) the better it is to have a link on your site. Don't worry about how much link juice your getting, if you can put a link up on there, do it

 

My example is meant to answer his question about how much link juice you can expect... once again that's highly dependent on how many links the juice is spread over... Posting on a PR 6 with 10k external links is worthless, it would be better to post on a PR 1 with 10 external links.

Well 1 it depends how often google is crawling your site. If they crawl it once a month, and your title is changed once a day, then they are not going to be indexing the new title and therefore you wont rank for it. I guess it would have to depend on the exact situation if your site was crawled daily.

Who told you to do SEO for 10 hours daily? If you have 2 hours per day, then they are enough to work on a single site/blog. Try to get backlinks and add quality content frequently to your blog.

 

I have mycompanycorp.com

and i have a few products.in domains..

so should i develop individual sites for each product domain or

should I redirect product domain to mycompanycorp.com/product

or do i have any other choice?

 

I recently shifted my blog from my old host to my vps and unfortunately my permalinks changed . so i submitted my new xml in google webmasters .. but it still shows the old . which is 404 : NOT FOUND . what should i do ? will it effect my blog ?
