.In domains don't hurt rankings on .com but yes true it takes more time. Better we take .com domain to target global audience and .in for targeting google.co.in . Developing individual sites is something about launching micro sites for SEO and it works for me at-least. It depends on key-phrases you choose to develop new site and how much resources it is demanding based on web competition. So if you think it is affordable and under the assistance of your seo skills and do it. Otherwise doing mycompanycorp.com/product will make your main website more powerful and all work will be focused on 1 main website.

Not sure exactly what your problem is (your backlinks are pointing to a sitemap?)

Try downloading SEOQuake for FF and you can check the cache of your site, and a bunch of other things. Are you checking the cache on google ( Site:yoururl.com )?

 

Links from directories are not that helpful. Social bookmarking, forums, blogs and articles are better because the content is closer related to your site (hopefully). If you can get relevant links to your site, those are the best links.

Not sure about the link bait, it sounds blackhat which is usually not good when google looks back at your site. if the links are relevant, then be my guest get a ton of them lol.

 

Ok, I bought a domain name last month and created a site on it. I thought when I published the website it would be re indexed in a few days. It has been over three weeks now and it has not been reindexed and still shows all the info and cache of the old website. I have tried everything to get Google to reindex the site. I have re written the SEO, updated META tags, written to Google through the webmaster page to request it to be recrawled, adjusted the Google crawl rate to be set faster, and am pasteing links to help encourage the site to be crawled. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Get a ton of backlinks from high PR sites. Do some digg submissions with your link it it.

Find out where it was ranked, and then compare it to where its ranked now. If there is a significant drop, that means google penalized them for something.

here is some examples of the domain i plan to develop

how to fight dot info 60.000 exact
turkey chili dot net 30.000 exact
Washington dc car rental dot net 30.000 ---wow cpc----extreme competition

plus



i found an unregistered domain with 170.000 exact global searches / month and 40.000 usa searches.
but the cpc is below 1 $ and most of the advertisements on the websites that target the word are completely unrelated garbage .

should i buy it, develop it to get some adsense money or it will be a waste of time ???



i have no time to develop them to full websites and promote them properly. i am planning to write 3-4 pages on each and make a little link building in a week for maximum.

will be enough for them to rank in the first page or the keywords in the domain is not that important ????

Quick question here related to SEO that I have read different opinions on and I want to clear it up.

If you have a primary site selling snowboards...
and then sub-categories with the different types of snowboards (k2, burton, sims)
example: primarysnowboardsite.com/k2-snowboards-for-sale
would be an example of the destination URL for one of your sub-categories selling k2 snowboards

then if you go and buy a BRAND NEW (no traffic, no backlinks, etc.) keyword rich domain name
RELATED to one of you sub-categories (such as k2, burton, or sims snowboards)
example: k2snowboardsforsale.com
and then 301 redirect k2snowboardsforsale.com to your
primarysnowboardsite.com/k2-snowboards-for-sale URL,
does it help you rank for your keywords?
In this example the keywords im referring to are, "k2 snowboards for sale"

ALSO would you build the backlinks for k2snowboardsforsale.com or would you build the backlinks for primarysnowboardsite.com/k2-snowboards-for-sale
