It all started when i bought an item using ebay. As soon as I won the auction, the seller told me he would send a paypal invoice and I had to check my email for it. I checked my email and paid. The seller then told me my item should arrive within 3-5 days. IT'S BEEN 15!!! I have tried contacting the person but getting no replies. What I just realized is, the seller sent me an invoice outside of ebay and marked it as a "service". I feel so stupid right now My question is, how can I get paypal to release the sellers info, like an address so I can get in contact with the seller? Do they even allow it? I don't know what there privacy policies are I've already filed for a dispute, but I'm thinking the person has already cleared it. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Maybe they can find out his paypal info, take 450$ from his account, and give it back to you. That's why I never use Ebay, only with traders that have like 600+ feedback, and only if they're almost 100% positive.
You can request the sellers information from here: http://search.ebay.com/ws/search/AdvSearch?advsearch=&sofindtype=9 Fill in the user ID of the seller and the item number of the auction.
You should ask this question on the eBay community help boards... http://pages.ebay.com/community/boards/index.html There are lots of experienced people who can help you out.
Yes eBay Community is Very good. and also write a mail to eBay Trust and Safety Team they are very helpful if you have all payment document you no need to worry eBay will pay you.
I'm sorry that this happened to you. You should escalate the case to paypal and wait for their reply. Nothing much you can do right now.
^^lulz But on a serious note. Open up a claim with Ebay AND Paypal. You should get results from that.
