I was Robbed 125$ on paypal.

I sent a payment to someone for 125$. The person replied me instantly saying he just remembered he had to leave for 2 weeks and he would refund the payment and we would do the deal when hes back.

However the "refund" has been pending for a week, and the guy's paypal name doesn't match his email, meaning he probably transfered the money to his real account and sent me a refund when he had no money left in his account.

i also emailed him anonymously and he replied me, 3 days after he was "supposed" to be gone.

How can i get my money back? i paid by direct transfert so i cannot do a chargeback.

If this was for a digital product/service then you can say goodbye to your $125

Then the money's gone. Paypal is always on the seller's side for products that aren't tangible since there's no way of proving if it was delivered or not.. Well, even if there is they won't give a rat's ass.

So just take it as a lesson learned

Sorry for your loss...of money. I paid some asshole here on DP $100 to do some links and then he got banned from DP, so my links were never done and I got screwed. It happens. Not much you can do.
