I was on Page 1 for 5 of my keywords about an hour ago, now my site is nowhere!!!!

WTF?? I was ranking on the first page for the last 4 days for like 9 of my keywords (they are not that competitive) And up until an hour ago I was ranked!! Now I type in any of these keywords and my site is nowhere to be found!!!! What the hell happened?
I cant image it getting banned, I havent done anything wrong that I can think of... plus it still shows some results for the website name itself.

Any ideas?? Im in panic mode!!!!! HELP

 

Is the site fairly new? It has been mentioned in this forum that sometimes when a site is new it gets high rankings right out of the gate for a week or two.. Than after that it can drop back into the shuffle of a million other websites.

Than at that point there is no where to go but up... LOL

Yes the site is only like 2 weeks old... I was kind of excited when it was ranking so high.. I guess I just have to do more work.. I guess this proves that theory.. Grrrrrr
Its like setting high hopes.

 

New sites will get an initial boost for their keywords. Then they drop... and you hafta SEO just like the rest of us.

 

same thing happened to some of my lenses they reach first page in 3 days
then collapse in 2weeks you just got to keep buiding those backlinks

 

Thanks for the advice everyone, it makes me feel better to know that I didnt get banned from google which was my initial reaction lol.. I will keep building backlinks and I will get there!

 

I think they did this across the board? My sites are nowhere to be found tonight
Mine are pretty new as well, so it's probably like everyone is saying

Check your site again mine just went back up to the top.

 

I would assume it's just a routine updating of backlinks; check your SERPs in a couple of days and let us know if your position was reinstated.

 

Sometimes that happens. It happened to my site too especially when there was a positive jump in the position, it would disapper from the SERPs for a while and come back later at a better position.

 

well my site isn't brand new, its about 6 months old, and it drop from the bottom of page 1 the the top of page 3 overnight for my main keyword. Not sure what happened

 

It happened to one of my post too. I don't know what really happened but my post appeared back on page 1.

Yes everything is the same way as it was before! Very weird!!
