The truth is(to the topic starter) what you are asking is kind of risky. You are looking for someone with the capabilities to get a major profitable online business for you and you'll hand over a fraction. Obviously, if this person can do this than they wouldn't really need your fraction because they would just start a site themselves and take all of the profit. Be the smarter person. Save your money and learn what you can. Start with a very cheap site and try to get it going. Once you have learned enough take the next step and use a lot of your money to start something big once you know the whats, where's, and how's to go about it.
hey guys, thanks for the replies. politician, i buy them all the time too and the most i won before was 5 dollars. Well the thing is, I have said that I will only give 50% of my money for six months AFTER i reach $1000 a month, so it would be pointless for a "wannabe guru" to help me out because if I never reach 1k they arent getting anything and shouldn't be wasting their time. But yes, this is a get rich quick method (not different from the "I'm going to make 5k in 1 month starting from $0 threads"), as well as a learning experience. I could research on my own but I feel like I have a pretty good offer going here. I've gotten some good PM's but please if anyone else is interested let me know. Thanks.
Y don't you personally go and hunt a guru and tell them your state. May be someone might just take you in . I'm not a guru, unfortunately . ~G
Well, I would not recommend you what an other user here said, to buy a site to put adsense and invest in adwords since you have no experience in it. This sounds to me like arbitrage or close to it and in order to do this you need experience. Instead I would have a site that speaks about hosting and put there hosting affiliates. With a high affiliate revenue per sale and a bit of AdWords research you could start making money. Take this as a start: hosting affiliates pay from $50 to $150 per sale and in my case I make 1 sale at 180 visitors. Advertise it in some niches with AdWords where to not pay very much per click, so around 180 visitors to make $50, it means around $0.25 per click. ============== Later edit: I knew I made a mistake somewhere that's why I came back to my post 180 visitors visiting the site of the hosting provider, not mine. Now, you have to consider this too. Maybe 50% of the people visiting your site will click your affiliate link, which lowers your AdWords bid at $0.12-$0.13. Maybe less than this. ============== Take this as a tip. If you know to value this, you have a starting point. Don't take what I said as exact values that will work for you. You may have a site that sells hostings once evey 100 visitors, who knows....or once every 500 visitors, well, you have to test and research. Good luck! PS: I don't need that 50% from your revenue
Hahaha, okay this post made me laugh the most on DP ever! Hope you find your guru to invest the money from the convenient store mate. All best wishes, Scorp
Here are some advice I can tell you. 1. Invest on a good domain name. 2. Get a good hosting service. 3. Purchase a good software to run on your website. 4. Build, promote and maintain with quality content. 5. Focus and continue building up your site. Do that instead of spending money on a guru as I do believe no guru will want your money when they can start creating that kind of money. I have learnt the hard way but then it is moving along. Hope this helps!
I have tried using adwords before but I thought it was better suited for a product/business/sales oriented site rather than an advertisement oriented site, then again I'm sure I didn't do everything perfectly, but it just seemed like too much risk for what it was worth. I know it works for some people because sometimes I click on the adwords in google search and it basically just takes me to a page filled with ads, and if thats what I need to do, then fine, but somebody please show me the best way how
I wouldn't play with Adwords if you are just starting off.. Nothing beats experimenting and learning about making money online on your own.. All it takes is time and dedication - just stick around here and before you know it you will be off earning. Start off small - make a website and drop in adsense ads.
To those few posters who said a 'guru' wouldn't be interested in this type of a partnership...Stop focusing on the 'here and now' and start thinking 'long term profitable gains'.. Imagine if ANYONE here, making say $5K per month took "TheRagingStock" up on their offer...here's what would happen: NOTE: ""You"" refers to anyone willing to help "TheRagingStock", and ""TRS"" refers to the original poster..."TheRagingStock" * "You" teach/show "TRS" the tips/tricks you've learned during your tenure marketing online, to help "TRS" identify 'hot consumer markets', as well as how to determine if that 'hot consumer market' is also a 'buying market' * "You" teach/show "TRS" how to 'advertise' to that 'hot buying consumer market' via Google, Yahoo! and/or MSN for as little as possible. * "You" teach/show "TRS" the importance of 'keywords' and how to use them to their advantage when advertising online through the 3 main SE's. * "You" teach/show "TRS" how to use an 'autoresponder' (GetResponse.com/Aweber.com) to 'sell' that hot product/service to those who need/want it...as well as using it to build rapport with their own customer base. * "You" show/teach "TRS" the importance of a 'squeeze page', in order to build their own mailing list. * "You" show/teach "TRS" the importance of good 'sales page', and where they can go to have it written, if "TRS" doesn't have the appropriate copy-writing skills to do it alone. * "You" show/teach "TRS" the importance of writing/submitting 'articles' (BUM Marketing) as well as where to submit them, in order to improve page rank, as well as their own web site's SEO * "You" keep in constant communication with "TRS" either daily/weekly, via either email/phone, in order to ensure that all proper steps are being followed and that he/she is sticking to their commitment to make money online. Now, once "You" and "TRS" are working together and "TRS" starts making their targeted monthly income, "You" then gets 50% commission for 6 months. The faster "You" helps "TRS" reach their goals, the faster that 50% commission starts to flow into "You" pockets...this would also help "You" prove to his/her own customer list/base, that what he/she knows not only works, but is also highly profitable! NOTE: Imagine if "You" helped "TRS" reach $2500 in two (2) months...at a 50/50 split...that would put $1250 into "You" bank account, and would also be a little more then if "You" went out and did his/her own thing...at least that's what I think IMHO.. Benefit from all this? 1. "You" has just earned future 'brownie points' as a 'marketing guru/genious' and can use this for a future joint venture if the possibility becomes available somewhere down the road with "TRS", as well as using any 'testimonial' obtained from "TRS" for any personal future project "You" may have waiting in the wings. 2. "You" could then use the success of "TRS", following the outline provided by "You", to possibly start a 'mentoring membership' web site, much like that offered by Derek Gehl (spelling?) of marketingtips.com (Formerly owned by Cory Rudl) 3. "TRS" has been given a solid, bullet proof and probably highly replicating "plan of action", which speeds up the 'learning process' and gets them earning the amount of money they'd like to make sooner as opposed to later. I'd love to take "TRS" up on their offer, however, at this current time, I'm not in a position to do it, as my income from my own online marketing hasn't prospered to the point I'd like it to be at and I'm still learning the finer points in how to raise my own business and be able to put it on 'auto-pilot'... Good luck to both "TheRagingStock" and to any DP member who takes them ("TRS") up on their offer, as I do see this type of a 'partnership' as a profitable one for each party involved, both 'here and now', as well as 'down the road'. Cheers, LoneRogue
LoneRogue, I love you. Thanks for the understanding, I knew this was a good offer, and you make it sound like an EXCELLENT offer!
