I miss watching the discovery channel and all the great shows on it. I no longer live in the US so that becomes a problem. I went out and signed up for the biggest cable package available which turns out to be less than the channels available over the air in many large US cities. The cable does not offer the discovery channel or any of the good stuff. I wen to video.discovery.com to watch a full-length show but when I get there I get this retarded little message: "Sorry, this is not currently available for your region." That really ticks me off, so then I spend like 3 or 4 days looking for a proxy server so my IP address can be in the US so I can watch the shows online. Unfortunately I could not find any good proxy servers in the US. I guess there are so many people that are trying to have their IP shown outside the US that trying to find one that will show me as being there is hard. I lease serverspace on a media temple server which is in the US and I have 1TB of monthly bandwidth, is there something I can use so that only I can access the discovery channel via my server? WWpinoy before I start complaining could you please PM me why you have neglected to contact me and decided to ignore my emails
Well I tried a few different proxies and no luck. So then I went and installed 3 different proxy programs on my server in Mass. and still no luck. It kept messing up javascript void links even after downloading the move player. Oh well I guess I am destined to go down to the squatter areas to watch "Dirty Jobs" as the locals do some weird job that should require steel toe boots except they are wearing flip-flops.
I used to watch both Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel, but I liked Discovery most. My favorite program was "Deadliest Catch" But our cable operator is not showing DC now a days, I am very angry. I will NOT pay him the monthly fees until he opens the DC channel back.
I have been stuck making use if Utorrent You know, I even got a season 1 disk of Heroes the other day. It was acrually pretty cool except the very last episode of the season was fubared so I had to go to youtube. I can watch Lost, Smallville, Dr. House and CSI on local TV, but only at like 3AM.
