I want to start my own affiliate program

Are there any affordable affiliate networks that anyone with a webstore can use? I want to start my own affiliate program but I think the best way to go is through a network like CJ. Unfortunately, CJ is made for larger companies that have a reputation. I need a quality network for smaller websites.

First of all, you not really need to entertain CJ. Coz i believe their advertising scheme not really suit for small Advertisers.

You still have lots of options here
    http:// en.wikipedia.org / wiki/Category:Advertising_and_Affiliate_Networks

But remember to monitor your campaign. Some times you cant convert your traffic to cash :)
Anyway, test your campaign for one or two weeks, check the ROI, it may different from Network to Network you joined. Then you can chose the best for yourself

Btw, i am opening my Contextual Ad Network next month. Hope we can cooperate soon :)

Good Luck & Happy New Year!

What webstore platform are you using? Home grown or one of the templates?

We have a full Affiliate Module built into our product. Probably not exactly what you're looking for if you have an existing site... But thought I'd mention it in case:

You can currently get a store free if you join the beta-tester group. Offer ending soon.

I'm not sure what you're looking for in terms of budget, but shareasale.com is a pretty good network (sorry I can't post links yet).

It's not free, but it's definitely more reasonably priced than LinkShare or CJ are...click on pricing on the left hand navigation if you want specifics.

    Good Luck

PayDotCom has a built in affiliate management system. It will probably be your best option.

Otherwise you could use Marlon Sanders' Affiliate Dashboard. This would be your own affiliate program you install on your web server. I think the web address is affiliatedashboard.com.

A lot of eCommerce software programs have builtin or addon affiliate program systems. X-Cart has something like that.

It really just depends on what specifics you need to cover. Post more details about what you are looking for, so we can give better assessments about what program you should use.

There's a large list of affiliate networks here, which may help you when choosing. Clixgalore is rather cheap, but it's not really the best affiliate network out there, but not the worst either.

If you don't want to use affiliate networks then you could go it alone by purchasing an affiliate software solution which could either be remotely hosted or hosted on your own servers. There is a list of some popularly used affiliate software here.

I hope I have helped you in some way and good luck with your affiliate program.
