I want to start a music blog and i need some ideas. What type of theme can i use? How can i make money with it? How can i get great musicians for interviews? Please drop a good comment please.
I know that but the main thing that is disturb my mind now is about the interview, how am i going to get big artists for interview?
If you want to make interview, you should running your blog until your blog become popular. Then contact the big artists.
I feel some sarcasm... But yes, you won't get any 'big' artist until your blog is 'big'... These questions are like "How can I hang out with Hollywood stars guys? Drop a comment".
Hello Install, I love your comment. You are right boss. My blog has to be popular before i get popular artist for interviews.
@Davidprince, this kind of niche is highly competitive, you might want to find a particular genre within it that is under-served, or maybe even local (to you). You'll have an easier time becoming popular and getting interviews, albeit these might not be the stars you're wanting to interview and write about. Once you're established at this "lower level", work your way up from there. Don't underestimate targeting a "smaller" and "less popular" niche. You might have more of a chance of getting a dedicated following, if your blog is good. daDineRiSS is right, Amazon and iTunes (and such similar services) are the way to make money. Adsense is pretty much worthless and low paying for this area. Good luck!
@Ryan i love your comment but i don't get this area Adsense is pretty much worthless and low paying for this area. Can you explain further please?
@Davidprince, what I meant is the Cost Per Click is low and usually not many advertisers, so that's why stuff like Amazon works better. You get (for example) 5% of the sale of whatever you're linking to OR whatever they buy instead (so they might click your link and then buy a TV, for example).
Thank alot Ryan. You have shared a good idea with me and i think your reply is the best one so far. I appreciate you for sharing your ideas with me. God Bless!
Just wanna point out here, that you shouldn't try to monetize the blog until you have 800 or so visitors a day at least. Good luck!
