Hello guys. I have an idea that could save a lot of us time and energy. I was thinking, if we could form a tight knit group of website owners who would all agree to market each other, we could achieve a lot. Together we can get more done than separately. In principle it's a good idea - 20 or 50 people cross-linking and driving relevant traffic and so forth. The problem is, I don't know you. How can I trust the average stranger who signs up to a group with reciprocating my efforts on behalf of other members? It will take some effort to build up trust, and build relationships with people you intend to work with. That's what many people are doing on this very forum. Getting to know people, getting advice, giving advice, and possibly - when appropriate - striking a partnership.

It would be a great idea except you would not get an equal mix wish would cause a revolt with in the group. At first the newness would be great until John realizes Fred is doing a lot less work or noting following through as he said he would. The more you add to the group the more problems you will face. Partnerships and group owned businesses struggle in real brick and mortar businesses, it would be extremely harder when you are dealing with people all over the world. It has been suggested before and has never came to reality.
i own about 100 domains and wouldnt mind doing what you discussed but as others have mentioned i have steered away from 2-way and 3-way linking do to trust issues . . . if you some how created a script where if some one took down the link they had posted on their site then their link would come off of others then i wouldnt mind signing up
