    Hey

I Plan to start a free hosting company very soon.

I was wondering what do you look for in a free host??

    some simple questions

    HDD Space - ??
    Bandwidth - ??
    Addon Domains - ??
    Mysql - ??

    Support - ??

    here is what i think

    HDD Space - 3GB
    Bandwidth - 15 GB
    Domain - 3
    Mysql - 3

    Support - via forums

should i get offshore or onshore hosting?

should i offer subdomain names like (clientdomain.5ms.net)

And last what is the best free automate cPanel creator ?

    thanks.:D

There are plenty of cpanel hosting scripts that allow you to run paid/free hosting. One thing to verify first is that the hosting account YOU will be getting allows free anything as many do not.

I would also suggest allowing MORE domains and LESS bandwidth/storage. Allow them to get their entire network of sites up FIRST then if wanted they could upgrade the bandwidth and storage space VERSUS simply moving 1-3 domains as they MIGHT have 10+ on the free site and WANT to then pay for the upgrades. Just an upgrade idea is all.

I think you should have your own dedi to run such a service..reseller acc's are not that useful...offshore hosting is what most people look for...but you must select a reliable provider...

if you do not wanna pay for WHMCS or iPanel you can google cP Creator....it is a nice billing script

You're getting involved in a VERY competitive niche there man. I hope you have a solid plan behind it.
Also I agree with RosenCruz above saying that you will definitely need a dedicated server because in order to make any money out of such business you will need a whole bunch (i'm talking thousands) of customers and believe me when I say that your shared hosting provider will not be happy with this.

We run our own paid hosting company.

We will be placing the free hosting customers on a dedicated server for sure.
