Hello guys I know this guy who sells jewelry and he makes some extra cash in my city, I did not want to ask him directly where he can buy the jewelry cheap to make a profit but I would like to do something like that?

Any ideas on how I can buy stuff cheaper than retail to resell for a profit??

Note: Do not tell me to buy them on eBay, that does not work LOL! :)

Try out drop shipping if that works for you .... The sites I would recommend are ....

    1) salehoo.com

    2) worldwidebrands.com

Well I am an Affiliate Marketer so this is basically what I already do, basically I want to know how this reatail stores get their hands on products to sell to people directly at competitive prices.

For example I would love to open my own store in my local mall USA and sell stuff, I can afford everything but I have no clue on where to buy products to sell.

My question might sound stupid but I have been searching for weeks and I can not find any information on this.

All wholesale and dropship directories are scams.....

Search Google for wholesale suppliers. I use to sell at the local flea markets and made quite a bit of money but then we moved to a remote area with no flea markets.

With all the wholesale companies, you must have a reseller number (tax number) which can be obtained from your state's tax office. These are normally free but you have to file and pay sell tax every month or every quarter depending on the state.

Most companies also require a minimum purchase of anywhere from $100 to $1500 for them to allow you to order. Make sure to research first and find a product that is not over done in your area. You can sell in flea markets, farmer's markets, fairs, and even on the Internet. There can be some real money to be made.

Good luck and hope this helps.

Sorry if I sound ignorant but everytime I do a search for wholesale suppliers I end up on ANOTHER wholesale directory, the problem with this listings is that their products are not sold at REAL wholesale prices.

I mean I can buy their products cheaper on Walmart!

Can anyone pointme to directories with REAL wholesale prices?

I will look when I have time but most of my stuff is out of date but at the time I found all mine by searching the net. Look towards the end of the search results because the crappy ones pay big money to got to the top of the results.

Remember that I said In my first post that buying from ebay or other websites does not work.

See I told you it is like a big freakin taboo or something, why is it so complicated to find places to buy stuff at REAL wholesale prices.

I mean seriously do you think Target buys their stuff from ebay to sell it in their local stores.

You can try hitting up some local vendor/craft fairs, they are usually full with jewelry makers. You can work soemthing out with them about offering you wholesale pricing.

I believe worldwide brands offers wholesalers.

    Hope that helps.

find a wholesaler in China, you'll get the best price, but if you want things easier then try to contact local distributors... they mostly got their stocks from China anyway.. or, directly contact the companies that own the brands of jewelry you wanna sell and ask them how to find stocks, they'll likely to give you satisfactory answers since you will be selling in your store, not online..

if you sell online without having a business entity, they won't give u a thing, but if you own a proper business and a store, they may forward u to your local psp dealers from where you can get your stocks from, and you may sign contract with them and become an official retailer. but they might have some requirements for someone to become their retailer.

If you are concentrating your city only the offline marketing method could bring some potential like ad on billboard, flyer, radio, cinema slide, local cable etc.

Depends on many factors such as how much inventory are you looking to carry. Which will directly correlate to your start up expense. But if I I were looking I'd try liquidation.com
