Hello All I want to register a few .ca domain names. Can any of the members help me the with the following? 1. Best and cheapest registrar 2. Documentation Required Thanks
It really depends... of you go to godaddy, their domains resolve in a matter of minutes. For documentation... all you really need is a confirmed paypal account. Let me know if you have any problems!
i do not see no where how i can register .ca domain using godaddy. The extension is not listed there!
that is weird... I was sure they had it. I just checked directnic... they don't have it either. yeah not sure!
you have to live in Canada I believe to reg them. Not sure about aftermarket ownership though meaning can you buy .ca domains if you are outside Canada once they are already regged by a Canadian owner?
I am from Canada... still can't find them. I don't think it makes a difference where you're from. I have bought a ton of .us domains... never a problem!
i can register .ca domain for you from enom. and can give you one reseller account free. you can manage your domain easily. pm me for detail
netfirms.ca ($9.95 / no PayPal/ after 1 year they will auto renew using your credit card info) 10dollar.ca ($10.45 / no PayPal) namespro.ca ($12.88 / takes PayPal / fast support/ in my signature) The registration process includes filling out forms at the registry site (cira.ca) confirming your compliance with Canadian residency/citizenship requirements. This includes new domains and re-sold domains.
For registering .ca names use www.netfirms.ca I have registered 3 domain names with them and have had no problems at all. Two of them are up for renewal next month and they will just automatically bill my credit card. Edited to add: You do have to be a Canadian Citizen in order to register .ca domain names. Canada is more strict with their rules when it comes to domain names. You can try www.netfirms.com and see if you can register .ca names through them.
godaddy don't register .ca domains, you have to register them through canadian registrars. Just do a search for .ca registrars and you will get a lot...
