I want to put ads in my software. Should I use AdSense or another ad network?

I'm not sure any other ad network is better than AdSense for websites, but I'm not familiar with any ad networks for software.

I was thinking to either make an IE.Object in my program, so it will look like someone accessed my website from Internet Explorer, but this is against AdSense's rules. Still, I don't think they are able to notice, unless they get tipped off and download my software.

Or, as an alternative, every time my program is opened, it can open my website in their default browser. But this would be annoying for the users.

Is there an ad network for software that pays similar to AdSense?

There is InstallMonetizer but not sure how good they are or more improtantly how helpful they are. Honestly you are better of going with web apps if your revenue stream is going to be ads only

 

Well, it's a bot for a video game, so I'm not sure how I would make it a web app. Thanks for the suggestions!
