I want to put a total limit on my advertisement.

    Hello everyone,

I just submitted an ad. However, I have the option of putting a daily limit but not a total limit. I am on a budget and I just want to try this out. How or when do I submit the total amount I want to spend for the 'campaign'?

I plan to renew the ad but, I am working on a budget.

    Thanks.

The budgets are all day-based. The best thing to do would be to disable the ad after a certain number of days, or only initially fund what you want to spend.

Thank you for your reply, Shawn, and hello to you. Hat's off on the forum!

I guess the solution is to disable the ad after a certain amount of days. That is not very convenient for people. This means that we need to keep an eye on it. On the other hand, to only add to the account the amount I want to spend is not a feasible solution. For, I may be running a couple or several ads or I may want money in my account to purchase something.

Maybe you could do a little programming so people can insert the number of days or the total amount they wish to spend on a campaign. What do you say?

The only thing you can buy with advertising funds is advertising, so you don't need to worry about wanting to use the money to buy anything else...

    Oh, okay.
How about if I want to run more than one ad simultaneously?

There isn't a way to set a long term cap on an ad, just a daily cap.

Okay, thanks. I will just keep an eye on my ads. Ah, two eyes - given my current budget. :)
