    Hi,

It's been some time now since I am thinking about publishing a Press Release for my site.I have the idea in my mind(what I want to publish) and have a decent idea of how to write press release after seeing many others :)

Now what I want to know is what should I do ? should I submit it to PRweb ? what is there price structure ? what about other PR sites like PRweb ? Which economy option can be most effective for me on PRweb ?

    Thanks

    You forgot:

    prleap.com
    przoom.com

Sorry I can't post links yet, so you'll have to type the URL's the old fashioned way.

More services=more backlinks=more exposure. Anyway PRWeb is far from being the best site in this field. If you don't purchase their publishing package, it's pretty much useless, as their submission standards are very low. Sites like PRZoom though have much stricter submission guidelines and thus attract more journalists, on the other hand the release itself will be much harder to write.

The real answer is you don't need that many services. A lot of distribution sites don't even give live links. Just worry about writing a newsworthy release, sending it out over the main sites like PRweb... upgrade for the live links there if you're that worried about them... and then to at least www.prleap.com and www.pr.com, especially if you want to go the free route. Those two get my releases into Google News w/o a problem w/o the upgrade fees of PRweb (one always does, the other often does... don't remember which off the top of my head w/o looking). But the best way is also free if you're willing to put in the legwork. Just manually fax or email the release to relevant newspapers, websites, blogs, and other outlets by first looking up the appropriate editor's contact information. Just remember your main focus should be to gain actual coverage. I have a free template and plenty of tips at the link in my sig.
