Create a page. The ring as the profile pic, and a background picture with proposal text as the cover. Then send her a "Invite Friends" request. Once she accepts, you can then post on the wall, and both of you send "Invite Friends" requests to all your real friends in order to get the word out. If you already have the ring, mention in the page where the ring is hidden (somewhere safely in your home).
