I have thought about opening a "we sell it on ebay store" where i would sell other peoples stuff on ebay and take commission. does anyone have any experiences with this type of business, or think its a good or bad idea?

I haven't had very much success with ebay affiliate. I think it's possible to do well but marketing is the key. I'm looking for a good ebay affiliate script if anybody knows of a good one.

I live in Las Vegas, and there is a store much like the one on "40 yr old virgin" and they actually do well. A lot of people who arent so "computer literate" or dont have the time, take some stuff there and sell it.

Pm me some details about where you live, and whatnot. I can help you out with this. I actually know the store owners, so I can ask them any questions you may have.

    Take care

Oh, then you mean a franchise. There are ebay franchises for about 28k and up. They are like the 40 year old virgin but a bit smaller. Just google for ebay franchise store.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi,

    Here's two links:

    www(dot)thebidfloor(dot)com/ebay_franchise_information(dot)htm

    www(dot)thefranchisecoach(dot)net/eauctiondepotgg(dot)htm

Sorry about the (dot) for .

They don't let me hotlink yet cause I'm a new member.

I believe it's the easiest way to start a small company in your hometown. Franchises cost money though because of training and support. If you just want to make money on ebay, go to garage sales and antique auctions and buy low cost items people don't want and then resell on ebay. That's what most antique stores do. They travel and find good deals at auctions and sell to their local customers. Kinda the same thing. Everything takes money to get started though. You have to save or borrow against your retirement in many franchise cases.

    Hope that helps.
