Heyas! I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I can market my website http://www.studentloanssource.com I have a lot of unique content for it, I guess now it is just a matter of correctly marketing it so that I can make money through the google advertisements Thanks for your help! ~Jaysmyne
If you have good content turn it into articles and submit to ezinearticles etc. This would probalby be a good subject for press releases also. Craig's List might work also. donrock
so submitting my posts to websites such as Ezinearticle will help me? Do press releases cost money and also could you elaborate on Craigslist?
It is debatable but I would comment on other peoples blogs. Some people will read something that you have commented on and follow through to your website. It has worked for me in the past and gives you more exposure. - Owen
If you need student traffic i can provide it from my site www.engineeringserver.com its a community for computer science students and developers let me know if interested
hrmmm I like the idea of commenting on other blogs, I'll have to go do a search for related blogs and Arkserver if you could PM me with details that would be great!!!! what about directory submissions too?
I have a e-book on the subject willing to give you a plug in the book ..I give the book away we might be able to help each other out contact me
Alright so I'm starting to get worried I jumped into this niche and I'm trying to market it correctly but I seem to be having a lot of trouble getting traffic.....its not even showing up in google when you type in the url.....I submitted it to DMOZ so maybe I just have to wait for it to get indexed there?
Jaysmyne it takes time to build traffic. Don't worry it will get there. Just keep writing and waiting. Try site:yourdomain in google also. Use google.com/blogsearch to find other blogs on topic.
Buy some ads from Adwords, Overture, etc. That is the quickest way to get targeted traffic to your new site. Aside from that, I would try to find a way to make your site stand out, be unique. There are thousands of sites with your same information on the net. Why should a user go to your site? Student loans is a very saturated market. You need to differentiate yourself. A blog is not going to cut it.
