Try and get whatever your selling infront of as many people as possible the more people that see it the more chance of getting your first sale. Goodluck
hhelen - Thank you for your kind words, much appreciated! jpmcoy22 - It's good to have goals. I wish you success in achieving yours! I haven't used plimus (yet), so I can't advise you on it - I find Clickbank keeps me busy enough!
Unless I'm going against the Adwords TOS then there's no problem- that campaign won't be running again.
I'm too new to affiliate marketing, but I think the best way to promote products is article marketing! My stats- wrote 3 articles to "ezinearticles" - views 550, url clicks 120, sales 3. result earned 70.50$ Time one week after the articles was accepted. Before that I tried- ppc campaign (1 sale, earned- 80$, spend 125$ = loses 45$ :/) and traffic exchange programs, results- hours of time surfing = no one sale. Good luck!
@Crafty Blogger: Yeah, hopefully posting updates here is going to help me keep focus on the goal. and maybe provide a useful thread for others like me. who knows . Anyway, I'll try to find an answer to that question. Thanks for the sincere response though. appreciate it. @boomerang: Thanks. Yeah, I think i'll begin with article marketing. So far, I've gathered the preliminaries to get things started. Everyone's been a great help. I hope this thread has helped you is some way.
People seem to be obsessed with article marketing, but I think a mix of techniques is a good idea, and although not fashionable good old SEO can help alot getting targeted traffic. Also links back from relevant forums can drive a lot of traffic. Remeber 100 ready to buy targeted visitors is better then 100,000 random ones.
