I want to Learn Web Designing, What Knowledge is Required?

Hello Guys,

I am going to get information about Web Designing course form an institute Today, What should i ask them? mean what basic things should i ask to include in the Course?

Need your guidance.

You should learn how to use Photoshop, how to use a program like Dreamweaver to create the HTML and maybe they can teach some color theory or design principles or something.

 

HTML + CSS are the basis of web design.
Grahical work is often a good thing to have in a course (could be a module named multimedia, or web graphics or something along these lines).
Flash is always handy to know.
Database work is a must.
Server side programming is a must (e.g. php, coldfusion, asp or something along these lines).
SEO is a must. This could be included in internet marketing.

Theres a lot, you probably won't want to incorperate it all into one course

 

Thanks for your kind suggestions, but how much time will it take to learn all these things. i mean what is estimated Time?

 

For web design you'll need to master photoshop and html. Dreamweaver helps too. If can pick it up by just playing around with it and reading tips online.

 

Isn't web design photoshop+html/css and web development PHP+MySQL?

 

Well I assumed he was wanting the whole array. The course i'm on at the moment is "web design & development".

Depends how good you want to be, you could learn the basics in a week but becoming great will take months/years.

 

HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language)
PHP (PHP: Hypertext Processor)

 

learn Photo shop and dream weaver to make HTML of it........
