I want to learn HTML. What is a good course or book?

    The sitepoint books are good, i have one called 'build your own website the right way' i only used this for a couple of weeks though got half way through it then decided to make my own website.
    I believe the best way to learn is to do it yourself, trial and error learn it as you go along.

    Try using a website template to make your own website, you will learn most of the basics through using a website template, when customizing bits here and there, i most certainly did. Also use forums and websites when needed.

    i would start at w3schools.com then you can advance through chat with other webmasters and learn pretty quickly.
