    Hi there,

    I want to learn the HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Flash and PHP from basics.

    Can anyone please provide me the good resources like tutorials/Video tutorials etc or any other helpful resources.

    How much time is required to get the grip on the above tools & languages and where to start.?

    Any help will be very appreciated.

    Regards

    I'll give you one very good advice - don't use Dreamveawer or other WYSIWYG editor because you won't learn anything that way.

    Instead open a notepad or some other text editor and start learnig HTML and CSS by actually manually writing the code ;)

    Some good tutorial sites for beginners:
    http://www.w3schools.com/HTML/
    http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/

    There you go. Once you are confident with your HTML knowledge, you can start learning CSS. Here:
    http://www.w3schools.com/Css/default.asp
    http://www.w3schools.com/Css/default.asp

    Well, Photoshop and Flash - there are many tutorials and even video howtos on the web but I think it's more about artistic side of yourself... you might be very skilled in Photoshop for example but if you don't have any inspiration - it doesn't really matter. I can tell from my own experience - I can do almost everything in Photoshop, no problem for me - but most of the time I don't have any inspiration or ideas... and that's why I'm concenrating more on a programming than designing. Well of course, don't misunderstand me. Programming is not easy, especially if you have no experience from other languages but it is the path I chose. Nevertheless, HTML isn't programming , it's just a markup language. But it is a good start point.

    Look for video tutorials at
    * lynda.com/store/category.aspx?categoryID=76
    * vtc.com .
    There are demos included also.
    And after video tutorials purchase some book.

    I would highly suggest using Notepad++ (Google it, including the '++') for your file editor. Learn HTML & CSS at w3schools.com. As for PhotoShop goes, it will take quite a while to get the hang of professional designing, but start now and you'll be a pro in no time. pixel2life.com has some great tutorials. :p

    As for Flash goes, check out this link: freeflashtutorials.com/
    That's all you'll need. :)
