HI all, I am doing SEO since 1 year but still i am not being able to find out various areas of website analysis, my seniors are saying that learn more and more website analysis... how can i optimize my self to be a best analyst. Can anyone tell me about this in deep. please give me some points on which i have to focus more by which i can understand websites business and can be able to find out how to optimize website more to get conversion... Pray PS: My strong question in website analysis is "How to decide that particular site is made in CMS/ASP.NET/Net suite(content management) etc... Thanks for your all replies.

Without a doubt you have to use Google Analytics it's free and better than most paid for software. if set up correctly you can split test, tell exactly where your (converting) traffic is coming from, which keyword weer searched and also demographic info. Don't try and be too sophisticated at first. learning to test is a process. Start off by focusing on conversion. You can get more detailed as you get better at improving conversions.
