I want to konw if - or _ in URL for search engin,which is better

For example: keywords is :I Love You

The Url is:http://www.domian.com/I-Love-You.html
The other one is: http://www.domian.com/I_Love_You.html

which is better for google search engin?

 

Both the dash and underscore delimiters are understood by search engines as valid spaces, it seems they lean more towards dashes, but this is due to the more wide usage of them then underscores. Neither have a specific advantage over the other, dashes tend to be more cosmetic.

 

dashes and underscores are treated just the same by the SEs..so you can use any of them

 

i will prefer domian.com/i-love-you.html (lower case word with - )

 

Dashes are better and more readable by humans...

flower_pot = flowerpot

 

Where did you come to this conclusion? Someone better notify Wikipedia that Markn26 cracked the code! They both are "delimiters".

 

You are wrong with this. Even the most popular sites use underscore as a space and SEs still count it.

 

I actually heard it from someone here on DP who tested it out. Looking for the post now. Thanks for not being a jackass.

 

My vote is for the-dash-technique ... seems to work just fine
