Hello guys, I recently learnt about blogs search engines called Technocrati and Syndic8. and that they can actually be beneficial to blog owners to get targeted traffic. Please share your ideas with me on this issue? How to go about it? Thanks for your time as always.
I have tried Technorati but haven't really gotten any benefit out of it. I tried having all my blogs post a link to each other slowly over time to increase the inbound links counted by Technorati but frequently it wouldn't count them... not sure why. Eric
I've pulled up to 10,000 hits / day from Technorati. Lot of stuff to explain but tags are where the traffic comes in. Do some research on that. Cheers.

Must admit that I do not know much about blog search engines either. I wish I did but I get into reading about them and then tags and then this and then that and it's impossible to take it all in. I get around 1k uniques per day but I'm sure I could do better if I knew how to better get the word out.

I started to use Bunny Tags, but then realized maybe I should be spending my time with the Ultimate Tag Warrior. It is for these two blogs -- http://blog.new-eastside.com http://news.mapvisitors.com The New Eastside blog has a fair amount of unique content I have been building it up over a year ( http://blog.new-eastside.com/sitemap/ ) but doesn't get much traffic. I want to get the news.mapvisitors.com blog off to the right start. Eric
Yup bro u are true Tags are must if u using Technorati i get hell lot of Traffic from Technorati just the thing is that u must know to use proper tags and thats it your blog will rock !! Dont know much about Syndic8
Any information about "how to use proper tags" ? Do you mean like use terms that people would search for on technorati but other bloggers are not putting into their tags so much? Ultimate Tag Warrior is a really nice plugin for Wordpress that could be used to archive what it sounds like you are interested in setting up. It allows you to add tags, like, this, in a box or [tag]keywords[/tag] can be tagged directly in the post. Works great for the sites I use it on.
