I guarantee he'll be back in a few weeks to months crying about his PayPal account becoming limited and he can't submit any documents since he didn't use proper information.

Okay, and I didn't mean for that to be offensive towards you but it's a common problem you see around here.

 

Get your dad/mum to make it for you - in his name so that if anything happens etc its all in his name so its legal.

 

Of course, it's good idea, but my parents won't agree with that, because the are not ... "familiar" with the internet and its perspectives, so they simply fear to loose their money. I already asked them for such things, so I know that they won't agree And I will try to do everything to don't get banned

You can create an account at any age but i would recommend to wait unitl you are 18.

 

Well say you don't want their money on it - only yours. And show them the various documentation there is on paypals site about why to use it etc.

 

I live in Pakistan... PayPal doesn't support Pakistan.
I spoke to my Aunt, who lives in London. She agreed to share her info. Now I'm using PayPal happily, without getting into mess. My Aunt has given me a written permission though...

 

It is not illegal to create a paypal account before you have turned 18, is it? I mean, they don't ask for your birthday, neither do you have to check that you are 18 years or older.. Have they really hidden it in the TOS?

 

No, they don't ask you for birthday date, but at the bottom of the registration page is written, that you must be 18 or older to register for PayPal

I am also under 18 but i created my account on my Mother's name. It was limited a few weeks ago but i gave them the proofs and my account's limit was lifted. So don't sign-up under your name if you are under 18.

 

with VCCs everything is possible, even a non-existent person can have a paypal account, you know what i mean

 

VCCs are a temporary fix and shouldn't be for long-term use. Just browse around for all the posts saying how people's accounts became limited and so on.

 

Well, if it is only a couple of months you need to use a VCC, then I guess you should be okey doing so, right? But don't blame me if it doesn't work out..

Anyway, you don't have to be 18 or older to get a legit debit card from your bank than can be used for verification purposes. You just bring your parents to the bank, they sign under a piece of paper and you should be able to get VISA CLASSIC, which can be used to verify your paypal account. At least one can do that in Norway...
