Hiya everyone, I have just newly created my own website and would like suggestions on how to get people to look at my site. Has any one got any suggestions?
Do SEO on your site and start marketing your website using many approach. Press release would be great for start
First of all submit the site to Google, Yahoo and MSN Live search engines. Also join with their webmaster tools.
Hey man look if your in this to make money and you want to get people flowing through your website then here is how to do it. Depends what sort of people you want to look at your site? ;-) 1. go and read up and make sure your site and homepage is seo optimised - courtneytuttle.com explains this well. 2. Go go to ezinearticles or goarticles, write an article that is linked to the keyword you want to rank for - if you haven't a clue about articles etc copyblogger.com has some great posts on writing and titles etc. 3. Submit your site to link directories - don't bother with search engines it's a waste of time 4. Get some free business cards or etc from vistaprint and get your URL on and hand them out 5. Link to your site from your facebook or myspace page. There are tons of ways and many, many free (without paying anyone else to do it) ways too.
Another MLM site? I read in their terms "ANY CLAIMS MADE OF ACTUAL EARNINGS OR EXAMPLES OF ACTUAL RESULTS CAN BE VERIFIED UPON REQUEST....ANY AND ALL FORWARD LOOKING STATEMENTS HERE OR ON ANY OF OUR SALES MATERIAL ARE INTENDED TO EXPRESS OUR OPINION OF EARNINGS POTENTIAL." Does that mean all the people there aren't real? But that would be their reaction? It's funny how all these MLM sites look the same. One LONG page of "I made $3trillion dollars in a week! Thanks XXXXXXX!", no real design put into it.... If these sites make so much money, can't they afford a nice design? Just my two cents...
It completely depends on your niche, but a safe bet would eb to build up many targeted links and go for various search terms in Google and Yahoo.

I'd say build an email list and start making money selling to the list. A good way to start with a list is to try and convert free opt-in leads into premium leads. There are plenty of places where you can get free opt-in leads. Check my sig for one of them.
