Where would I start to get into it? Is there a site I can start at? I know Yahoo has a program but are there better programs out there?
There are a number of different ways to get into ecommerce. Many different we hosts offer both osCommerce and ZenCart which are open source shopping carts that you can find templates for at places like templatemonster. I believe that you can also install osCommerce through Fantastico but I would install the new release. Other than that you can get a static IP and private SSL to secure your site and set up your payment gateway in your shopping cart of choice. If this sounds like too much work there are a number of places that do specialize in more of a turn key ecommerce package. That may be the easiest way to go. Hope this helps. John
