Honey, writing takes research. When you write, you'll need to research information. Including how to write with proper grammar and spelling and style and syntax. There's a section here where you can sell your services to other members. Do the research. Consider it basic training. You have to read before you can write.
You can use this thread >>> http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=102. Reply to the "Writers Wanted" posts and you shall be hired by someone - get ready with some samples to show them. Let me know if you have anything else to ask. Thanks
associatedcontent.com, textbroker.com, freelancer.com are some of the places you could start with. You will a lot of patience. Good luck!
Zing Try the Buy, Sell and Trade forum listed directly under the listing for this subforum on the main forum page.
You speak of "proper grammar" here, I can see many mistakes in how you have written this including full stops where there should commas and semi colons. Lets not look at all the "and's" where there should be commas... People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!
The first step would be to have samples, or clients you can reference. This can be done by contacting potential clients and offering them some free work in exchange for a testimonial, and the right to use a image file of the article as a sample to your future clients. Then, you need to honestly give yourself a price. Not everyone's writing skills are equal, and their rates shouldn't be either. Of course, through experience, you will gain knowledge and improve your technique, and you can increase your rates as time moves on. Once you have samples, approach clients. These clients could be members here, members on other forums, those clients you gave free work to, bloggers-- the list goes on and on. Explain who you are, your specialty, and how you think you can benefit their business with your writing. If you want serious clients, you won't be able to have a solid rate and give it to every potential client you meet. Prices should always be discussed after establishing your value to the client. Then, based on the specifics of what the client needs, you can discuss rates. Hope i Helped, Noah
Yes Noah, now that was a helpful posting with excellent advice. There is not much to add. It would not hurt to write a high quality article about how articles bring business. Then write one more about how important content (articles) are to getting noticed. Take one more step. I or many here can show how you can get a free tool. It shows what Google sees now. List the first 5 single words, then list the 5 words that would make it useful. As Noah stated in a fine manner, show the customer proof. You want proof and trust when you buy something, so does your client. --------------------------------------------------------------yes Noah, you did help-------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, I think we all agree that the OP needs to work on his language skills and since he already stated that he wants to earn from the writing, I have a suspicion, that he is in need of income, so I would propose something in between. There is something called contentcurrent.com and it is the place I started out writing articles. Besides article writing, they also pay you to post on forums, and that may be something the OP can benefit from. Forum posts are less demanding then fully fledged articles, so I think it is a good opportunity to earn some pocket money, while brushing up on the language skills. Just a thought
This reminds of something... Oh yeah She said "Son, what are you doing here? My fear for you has turned me in my grave" I said "Mama, I come to the valley of the rich Myself to sell" She said "Son, this is the road to Hell" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abZlWqVeLzg
You could either go to a freelance site or you could right a load of farticles and sell them as a PLR article pack.
You can find "Services Section" in the forum options. When you click on "Forums", you can see options which include introducing yourself if you are a new member, answers to questions if you have problems with your PayPal and so on. "Services Section" gives you the option to look for job opening and apply for one. If you're lucky, you will get the job. Make sure that you satisfy your buyer so they'll come back. Good luck!
