I want to download picture in my website

Hello Friends,

i am a new php developer
i want to download picture in my website
for example this is url : http://www.example.com/pictures/sample_pic.jpg
when i clicked on this url then pic is open but i dont want to open any pic
i want to download pics
so please help me and advise me that how is it possible ?
