Hello, I want to disable my account here. I posted a topic and a member made fun of my English. This forum has been always useful but I'm not comfortable here anymore, how can I do that ? Thanks
Accounts are not removed. Your only option is to sign out and not come back. Of course you could do something outrageous and get banned instead.
fair enough its not nice that he made fun of your english, and he should'nt as this is ment to be a place for everyone and he should have the guts to say sorry. But i think its just one of those things you need to get over. As i no he probaly would'nt be the only one on here that does it But you simply have to learn in life to put them things behind you and think of whats infront.
Well, I never made fun of your English. You clearly asked how you can earn better on your site, and I told you that since the writing is a bit choppy, you could first try re-writing your website. I never made fun of you, but if it's your choice, then so be it.
OK kids settle down now and play nice will you? If English is not your native then you can't really expect to use it well now can you? I know, I have same problem as you do, and trust me, that's not a reason to remove your account or anything.
Please don't leave the forum. Why don't you work on your english instead?? BTW whatever member hurt your feelings you can fightback by improving your english We are all here to learn and improve our skills. If there is anything I can do for you please let me know
Disabling account for someone who made fun of your english is not a good decision. Disabling the account here in DP never assure you that you won't get the same comment on somewhere? No one knows everything, all Giant kings are learned as beginners once in time. So Take a positive approach in life..... It is better decision if you show that you are good in english than one who comments on your english.
mrweb, yugo's comments were not expressed in the kindest terms but you need a far thicker skin to survive on the internet. May I suggest you stick around a while?
Why don't you report the member to the admin? Abuse behavior is not tolerated here so mention it. If it is just that one member who makes you uncomfortable then try and stick around. I've recently started posting (although I've had an account for ages) and I love the site. Don't miss out because of one idiot. I think you have pretty good English if it is not your native language. Some people assume everyone is fluent in English.
I would say Don't run away , try to prove yourself here and show him that you are one of the best.. Most of peoples are finding only mistake in a human but they are not finding what type of quality in it. " Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit."
Quitting is not a good decision, my friend stay here and learn some good things at DP. Enjoy all the DP sections , surf all the threads and posts , man.
