I want to delete my old URLs from Google

    Hi! I have changed my site's script 1 week ago. Normally, All URLs has changed to. So i want to delete old approximately 5000 URLs from Google. How can I do?

    just go to google/addurl..... and then choose delete site, just like you do before when you add website to google

    Sometimes it can be useful to perform a 301 redirect on old indexed URLs to your home page or a more appropriate page. I think eventually google figures this out and deletes the old URLs, and in the meantime you benefit from any old page rank. That said, 5000 is a lot, so you would probably want to redirect a root site if possible rather than each individually.

    Thanks for replies. if I use '404 not found', will these URLs be automatically deleted by Google?
