All these links are same. www is just a prefix. If you get a pr you will get it for the domain piano-accordions.com and all pages under it.;)

PR is per page, not per site. If the homepage gets a PR3, it doesn't necessarily mean that all the site's pages will get a PR3 as well.

Wrong, search engines see www.domain.com and domain.com as two completely different webpages, same with www.domain.com and www.domain.com/index.html, they all can have their own unique Pagerank value. This is why we always redirect non-www to www and the index file to it's respected top level directory, failure to do so will result in Pagerank and SEO value from backlinks not being properly sent to one URL.

    @ssandecki

No wonder I can't see some backlinks I've just added before!

So what do you suggest? with or without www?

    Good info!

It doesn't matter which you choose, as long as you consistently use the same one. As ssandecki said, doing otherwise will dilute your ranking.

That is a pure cosmetic question, what do you like better? I always use the www prefix, but some people like it without. The choice is yours to make, one doesn't get more value than the other.

Not to mention the duplicate content issues inherent with failing to specify one and redirect the others (yes, I know you "hinted" at it, but I figured I'd come right out and say it).

I can't give the "whole" farm away! :D But, I did really dodge that appear reason as well, probably due to the direct relation to PR in the OP. It should of been mentioned, thats why it's always good to have more than one knowledgable person answering your thread. :)

Yet you expect me to? :p (Seriously - I did the math the other day and realized that I gave away almost $400,000 worth of consultations and development work in the name of good will towards all during the previous two years. )

Now you know why I started my SEO services. As we discussed in another thread you see how that has been working out for me, no complaints and my SEO analysis is flying off the shelves, I can't even keep up with the orders sometimes. As we discussed in PMs about your idea I'm demanding results on that by mid-June, for reference purposes I'd gladly be your first customer regarding that specific idea. :)

    Ssndecki is right,

You should redirect your pages to www one,

It will benefit you in SEO.

hi.. PR is per page only. So If u need same PR to index.html means just redirect that domains or u will work link building for index.html also
same information contains in index.html and home page main domain. so just redirect that URL.

Dont panic. I have seen yahoo do strange things moreso than google , in banning keywords for urls and then 2 weeks later you are back in business. So dont freak out yet. Give it a few weeks. In the meantime work on some good quality link building. Get a link from dir.yahoo.com and that may fix it within the months end. :) Just an idea no guaranteed but thats what i would do.

It doesn't really matter as such as long as you use the same one for each page so if you use www for your main page and not for the rest make sure you ALWAYS use www for your main page and not for the rest.

But I would advise you to just use the same for all your pages so you don't get yourself all mixed up and confused later on, so just use www for them all or not www for them all :)

Hope your site gets way back up soon :)

When you were on top positions, did you continue building links? If not, you have to continue to create quality of back links because you don't get stable rankings on SERP. Inbound links helps your site stay on top.
